BVPC website info on photo submissions and the Members Only section
Hi BVPC members!
I hope everyone had a fantastic summer and early fall, with lots of successful picture-taking!
I’d like to remind everyone about two key website issues that will help you and me make the website more useful.
- Submission of photos for the monthly challenge: The ideal size of photos is between 512 Kb and 1 Mb. I tend to lean towards 1 Mb to make sure viewers using a very large screen get good resolution. When submissions come in much smaller than 512 Kb, the loss of resolution on the website is noticeable. Larger submissions usually work ok, but they “clog” up the site a bit and sometimes cause problems. So when exporting your photo from the editor, please size the image accordingly. If you are having trouble with this step, please let me know and I can try to help.
- Members Only link on the website: Please note that the password for this menu item is Elevationplace Once you have signed in once, you can use all the pages inside Members Only without further sign-ins for that session. There are lots of resources there, so enjoy!
