About Us

The Canmore Camera Club (CCC) is all about educating and enthusiastically encouraging photography in the Bow Valley and beyond. At the CCC we emphasize a sharing, friendly, non-cliquish, multicultural backdrop to some of the best natural scenery and outdoor adventures.

Our monthly meetings are normally held on the third Thursday of the month, except during summer. The meetings include instructional sessions and club challenges for a variety of skills and experience levels. We like to think that we are particularly encouraging to beginners.

We conduct field trips throughout the seasons, building on the instructional sessions with a particular emphasis on practical How-To experiences; conception, capture, post-production and then sharing (Digital Slideshow, Printing, Social Media).

The Canmore Camera Club is a registered non-profit organization that was formed by Dr. Jean Parboosingh in 2006.  As such we require paid memberships, which are valid from the date of purchase until the following September.  The cost of membership is $40.00 that can be paid at one of our meetings or by contacting the Treasurer.
