Field trip – light painting at Engine Bridge
Trip Description: Harv and Peter will be doing onsite light painting on Tuesday evening. Harv will bring a variety of lights from strobes to flashlights and headlamps.
Tuesday night seems to be a great evening to do this. The weather should be okay. Sunset is at 5:45 pm with Blue Hour starting at 6:53 pm. Night time is supposed to be at 8:22 pm. Meeting at 5:45 gives time to explain things as well as time to set up the composition and focusing to be ready to go.
Those that do not wish to photograph may wish to assist in the lighting and should dress appropriately both for warmth and in dark clothing and those that wish to participate should bring the following:
What to Bring:
– tripod (a must)
– remote camera trigger can be beneficial
– warm clothing (dark)
– perhaps a lawn chair (for relaxing, waiting or to sit in when shooting)
– a thermos of coffee or tea is also nice to have
