Scotland Photo Tour
The photo tour will be spent in three areas; Glencoe, Skye and Wester Ross. Glencoe is very atmospheric with a beautiful river and sea loch surrounded by impressive mountains.
Skye is well known for the stunning Cuillin mountains but it also has plenty of wildlife such as sea otters and dolphins.
Wester Ross is quiet but dramatic and not too far from Skye.
The tour will meet in Glasgow on April 17th and then drive alongside beautiful Loch Lomond, through the Central Highlands and ending up in Glencoe, where we will spend two nights.
On the 19th we will drive to Skye, making plenty of stops to photograph the stunning Scottish scenery that we pass through.
This year we will spend 3 nights at Dornie, which is very close to Eilean Donan castle and a short drive to Skye.
During our time in this area, we will explore the island, photograph wildlife such as sea eagles and visit stunning locations at sunset and sunrise. As well as photographing the scenery and wildlife on Skye, there will also be opportunities to visit the island’s castles and distilleries.
After 3 nights we will drive North to the spectacular but much quieter region of Wester Ross. This region features dramatic 3,000 foot peaks that rise straight out of beautiful sea lochs. Wester Ross includes the Applecross Peninsula, Torridon, Loch Maree, Gairloch and dramatic mountains such as Liathach and An Teallach.
The final night will be spent close to Glasgow and the tour will end in Glasgow on April 26th.
The price of the workshop ($2,995) includes transportation from Glasgow, accomodation, breakfast and lunch.
